Northside HUD home yields tidy profit

This HUD house, located on Harold Ave., in Richmond (Northside) has made a tidy profit for the investor/owner. The investor bought the house from HUD in late 1997 in the high 20’s. At that time it was in pretty rough shape and looked like this.

Steve O helped the investor by hiring a construction crew to do a complete inside-out renovation. The investor spent about $ 12,000 doing the rehab, but the results were amazing! In three weeks, the house looked like this.

After a short marketing period, while the investor was out of the country, Steve secured a full price contract for the sale of the house. The house was sold after renovation in the mid 50’s. All$ well that end$ well!
